Acting Work
About.
Chelsea grew up in Sydney, Australia as the precocious oldest child of six. A commercial actor at two years old, she later became a youth ambassador for Sydney's Griffin Theatre Company during high school. Graduating valedictorian, Chelsea took a break to study law and writing, and to travel the world. She returned to her creative passion in her final years of university, before studying full time for three years at the International Screen Academy, Sydney.
Chelsea has been working as an actor in the Australian industry for a number of years since, in both local and US productions. She can be seen in Shine’s miniseries ‘Peter Allen, Not The Boy Next Door’, as well as the Australian independent film ‘Mindset’ currently touring the international festival circuit. She also writes and works as a photographer in Vancouver.
Chelsea believes that forming genuine, creatively nourishing relationships is the key to not only building a stronger industry, but to creating great art and telling stories that need to be told. She also works behind the scenes on large productions when time permits, most recently on the CBS show 'The Stand’ and ‘Shadow & Bone’ for Netflix. Working in such production roles has given her a strong sense of the studio etiquette, tenacity and stoicism required on some of the biggest sets in the world.
She is currently based in Vancouver, Canada - where a good cup of tea is the best possible replacement for that delicious Aussie sunshine she misses so much.
